Heather Collins is a Chartered Member of IOSH and has worked in health and safety for 25 years.
Her background is in manufacturing industry, though her consultancy work has since seen her develop knowledge of many other areas for example in hospitality & catering, new technology businesses start-ups and logistics & distribution.
Areas of particular specialisation include conducting in-depth risk assessments (e.g. machinery, COSHH, fire safety), emergency & business continuity planning, and organising manageable safety arrangements for small contractors.
Heather is also a skilled trainer having taught the NEBOSH Certificate for several years and now conducts bespoke Health & Safety training sessions for workers and managers at all levels.
Andy Whitaker is a fully qualified Chartered Health and Safety Consultant (CMIOSH) whose ethos fits in nicely with ours – helping the client achieve compliance with Health & Safety legislation by assisting in the development of bespoke health and safety management systems.He has over 17 years’ experience in Health & Safety – nine of those with a major UK Blue Chip Organisation.
Since setting up in business this experience has widened to include dealing with clients in the hotel and hospitality sectors to garage workshops, convenience stores and hairdressing salons.He also has a lot of experience in office safety and can deliver DSE assessments, or alternatively train staff to be competent in carrying them out for themselves. Other training courses provided include manual handling, asbestos awareness and fire safety.
Andy is a very easy to get along with – and brings a pragmatic approach to carrying out surveys and audits, accident investigation, general risk assessments and fire risk assessments.
