We offer potential clients a free initial visit in order to carry out a 1-hour diagnostic check so that we can discuss with you what exactly needs doing to comply with the laws that apply to your business. We will then be able to advise you on which element of our service suits your company best.
Consultancy
The PERFORM Health and Safety Service is our full consultancy arrangement in which we become your Legally-required Competent Person for the length of the contract.
The PERFORM service has many benefits including:
- We will draft your Company Safety Policy and General Risk Assessment
- You will be supplied with all necessary Health and Safety Forms and Guidance Notes
- Regular visits from us over the year will keep things on track
- Unlimited access to a phone and email advisory service
- Free short training courses and individual coaching can be included

Policies
Many businesses are beginning to realise that having a good Health and Safety Policy not only benefits their staff, but also becomes a vital part of projecting a good image to their customers and business partners.
For those customers who prove to have very well developed Health and Safety systems, we might recommend that we help you by first carrying out an audit. We are British Standards Institute trained auditors and can check that the standards you have laid out in your Policy and Procedures are being applied throughout your Company.

Training
We can offer you various pre-designed training courses, or if you have a particular training need in mind we can usually design and deliver it ourselves.
Alternatively, as not everyone thrives in a 'classroom' setting, we can coach your staff e.g. guiding one or two people into applying a skill such as carrying out a risk assessment in a sensible way.
Where we can't provide the training you need, we're happy to refer you to another training organisation.

Risk Assessment
Before delving into the detail of specific risk assessments, we first help you compile a General Risk Assessment. This is the big picture and enables you to prioritise your efforts and justify working on the biggest risks first.
After this, we help you to carry out the Specific Risk Assessments (e.g. Fire Safety, Manual Handling, Display Screen Equipment, Noise at Work etc.) that are required.
